Shopee pushes listings with violations down in search, bans the ones that must be edited and deletes the serious ones. Paste your product name and description and the tool flags what to fix — in order.
Question 1 of 2
Fix red first, then yellow. Green is polish — don’t start by rewriting everything.
Violations and stock come before any keyword work.
My Products shows deboosted, banned and deleted listings with the reason.
Banned listings have an edit deadline; deboost appeals have a 14-day window.
Sold-out items can’t be bought, and duplicate listings count as spam.
No brand names that aren’t yours, no promotional words, emojis or repeats.
Remove phone numbers, messaging IDs and outside links.
Most deboosts come from a few spam patterns.
Adding other brands to the name to catch their searches gets listings deboosted.
Search terms unrelated to the product count as keyword spam.
The same product listed several times instead of using variations.
Words like hot item or free shipping describe a deal, not the product.
Directing buyers off Shopee breaks the platform’s rules.
Listings with zero stock can’t be bought.
Edits are reviewed again before the deboost lifts. If you believe the flag was wrong, use the appeal option within 14 days — each violation can be appealed once.
The basics are shared, but each market publishes its own guidelines and limits (for example the product name length). Check your market’s Seller Education Hub.
Then compare price, shipping fee, ratings and whether competitors join campaigns and use vouchers.
Shopee publishes separate guidelines for each market; check the Seller Education Hub for yours.
Note: this is a self-check tool based on Shopee’s public seller guidelines. It is not a Shopee product and cannot see your shop. Shopee is a trademark of its owner.
