Merchant Center “No products on website” suspension: what it means and how to fix it

“No products on website” sounds like Google can’t see your products. What it actually means is narrower: Google decided the domain you gave as your website URL is parked — a page with no products for shoppers, only ads or links, or nothing at all. Because shoppers who click through would land on a page with nothing to buy, the account is suspended until it’s fixed.

Why it usually happens

It’s rarely a policy problem with your products. Common causes:

  • the domain expired, and the registrar is now showing a parking page;
  • the domain doesn’t point to the server hosting your store — after a migration, a DNS change, or switching platforms;
  • the site had a temporary outage when Google checked;
  • the website URL in Merchant Center is a different domain from the store (an old domain, a holding page, or a domain you never launched).

How to fix it

Following Google’s steps:

1. Check your domain hosting.

  • Make sure the domain points to a server that’s hosting your product pages.
  • If the domain expired, renew it with the registrar you bought it from.
  • If the site was down, make sure it’s running properly again.

Visit the exact website URL from Merchant Center in a private browser window. You should land on your store, with products, without a password page.

2. Update your domain information.

  • Review your domain’s server (DNS) settings.
  • Make sure the website URL in Merchant Center is verified and claimed, and upload a fresh data source.

3. Request a review. Once everything is live, request a review in Merchant Center. If you use a third-party platform (such as a store builder’s Google channel), request it through that platform instead. Google says the re-crawl usually finishes within 24 to 48 hours.

Depending on the issue, Google may ask for extra verification and limit how many reviews you can request. Fix and double-check the site before you ask — don’t request a review while the domain is still parked.

Other suspension reasons

If your site is clearly live and full of products, the suspension is probably about something else — most often trust and transparency. See Merchant Center suspended for misrepresentation. For product-level disapprovals, use our free Merchant Center disapproval checker.
