Vinted “Buy now” button not showing, or listings hidden? Seller settings to check
“A buyer says there’s no Buy now button” or “my items aren’t showing” usually comes down to one of four settings on your side. Here’s what Vinted’s help says about each.
1. Not all carriers are enabled
Vinted says that if the “Buy now” button isn’t visible, the buyer should check whether the seller has enabled all available carriers. Enabling them makes sure a carrier that works for the buyer’s location and the item’s category is available.
Fix: in your shipping settings, turn on every carrier you’re able to use. A buyer in a different area, or an item in a particular category, may need one you’ve switched off.
2. Holiday mode is on
Holiday mode hides all your listings — for up to 90 days — and stops buyers starting new orders with you. It’s easy to forget it’s on.
Fix: go to your Profile → Holiday mode and turn off Hide my items. Note that holiday mode doesn’t extend any Bumps or Showcase you paid for.
3. The item is reserved for someone else
When you reserve an item for a buyer, it’s hidden from everyone else — in the feed, the catalogue and your listing page — and only that buyer can buy it. A reservation lasts 5 days.
Fix: if the sale fell through, unreserve the item: from the conversation (ⓘ → Unreserve) or from the listing (⋮ → Unmark as reserved).
4. The item was marked as sold
Vinted’s Mark as sold button is only for items you sold outside Vinted. It’s not a way to reserve an item — using it takes the item off sale.
Fix: if you marked it by mistake, you may need to list it again — and use Reserve next time.
Still not showing?
If an item disappeared without any of these, Vinted may have hidden or removed it — and it sends you an inbox message when it does. See Vinted items not selling for hidden listings, and Vinted account banned if your whole account is affected.
