When do you get paid on Vinted? Pending balance and withdrawals

On Vinted, a sale isn’t paid out the moment the buyer pays. The money waits in your pending balance until the order is complete, then moves to your available balance, and only then can you withdraw it. Here’s the timeline from Vinted’s US help center.

The timeline

  1. Buyer pays → the money shows as Pending balance in your Vinted Wallet. You can’t use it yet.
  2. Order delivered → the buyer has 2 days to press “Everything is OK” or report an issue.
  3. Order completed → when the buyer presses “Everything is OK”, or 2 days after delivery if they do nothing, or once a reported issue is resolved.
  4. Within 2 days of completion → the money moves to Available balance.
  5. You withdraw → it can take up to 5 business days to reach your bank (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

If the buyer never confirms, that’s up to 2 days to complete the order, up to 2 more days to become available, then up to 5 business days for the withdrawal.

Why Vinted holds the money

Vinted’s payment service provider holds the payment until the order is completed, so buyers get what they paid for. If something goes wrong, Vinted may refund the buyer under its Refund Policy — unless you and the buyer agree on a different solution.

Does it depend on what you sold?

Vinted’s help pages on the pending balance and on getting paid describe one timeline for every order and don’t mention different hold times by category — electronics, entertainment, kids’ items or anything else. As they describe it, the money is released once the order is completed, whatever you sold.

You may also see this called “VintedPay”. Vinted’s help center calls it your Vinted Wallet; “Vinted Pay” is one of the names that can appear on your bank statement.

How to withdraw

  1. Add your bank details first.
  2. Go to Vinted Wallet and press Withdraw to bank account.

Rules on vinted.com:

  • USD only, to US bank accounts with an account and routing number.
  • Minimum withdrawal: $0.10.
  • You can’t use the same bank account for more than one Vinted account — withdrawals will fail.
  • Vinted’s payment provider may ask for an identity check. Until you complete it, withdrawals are paused.

If you don’t withdraw, your available balance is used automatically for your next Vinted purchase.

Money hasn’t arrived?

  • Check your Wallet history: Vinted Wallet → History shows each withdrawal’s amount, start time, the bank account it went to and the expected arrival date.
  • Check your statement under another name: the deposit may appear as “Vinted Pay”, “Adyen”, “Mangopay” or “Leetchi”, not “Vinted”.
  • Already spent? Balance funds pay for purchases automatically — check your payment history.
  • Still missing after 5 business days: log in, press Contact us, give the date the withdrawal started, and attach bank statement screenshots from that date to today showing your full name, account number, bank address and code, and the statement date.

Failed or misdirected withdrawals

  • A failed withdrawal doesn’t leave your Wallet. Common causes: the account was blocked by the payment provider, the amount is under $0.10, or the name on the bank account doesn’t match your Vinted Wallet.
  • Sent to a closed or non-existent account: returned to your Wallet within 14 calendar days.
  • Sent to someone else’s account: may be returned within 15 business days.
  • Withdrawals can’t be cancelled once started.
