TikTok Shop shipping time for sellers: the 2-business-day dispatch rule
TikTok Shop is strict about shipping speed, and its deadline is measured by the carrier’s scan, not by when you print a label. Here are the rules from TikTok Shop’s US Fulfillment Policy.
The deadlines for regular orders
Counting from when the order becomes Awaiting Shipment:
- 2 business days — the order must be marked In Transit, which means the carrier has scanned it. Miss this and it counts as a late dispatch.
- 5 business days — if you still haven’t added tracking (the order isn’t Awaiting Collection), TikTok Shop cancels the order automatically.
Printing a label isn’t enough. TikTok Shop says your dispatch responsibility doesn’t end at hand-off: watch that each package actually gets its acceptance scan within 2 business days.
Handling time and longer options
At shop level you can set a handling time of 1–2 business days for regular orders. For products that need longer, TikTok Shop offers product-specific options:

With made-to-order, backorder or custom handling, the order must be In Transit within your handling time plus 1 business day, and is auto-cancelled if there’s no tracking within handling time plus 4 business days. Late Dispatch Rate
Late dispatches are tracked as your Late Dispatch Rate (LDR) on the Fulfillment Performance page. If more than 10% of your orders miss the dispatch deadline, TikTok Shop may take enforcement action. Orders cancelled after the deadline passed can still count as late.

- Check Manage Orders → To Ship every day for each order’s dispatch deadline.
- Use carriers and drop-off times that give a same-day acceptance scan.
- Set an honest handling time, and switch made-to-order items to the right option instead of risking late dispatches.
