Walmart Pro Seller badge: requirements for every tier
The Pro Seller Badge shows next to your business name on Walmart.com listings. Walmart assigns it automatically when you hit a set of targets — there’s no application. There are three tiers, and each unlocks different benefits.
The requirements
You must meet every metric for a tier.

You also have to be in compliance with all Marketplace policies. Walmart says a policy violation warning can make you ineligible for a badge — respond and fix it quickly. Walmart also reserves the right to use other criteria and to include or exclude sellers at any time.
These are stricter than the minimum Walmart Seller Performance Standards: for example, the general cancellation standard is 2%, but Pro Seller needs 1.5%.
When status updates
- Metrics in the Pro Seller dashboard are calculated daily.
- Status refreshes on the 5th and 20th of every month. Once you meet all criteria, you get the highest tier you qualify for at the next refresh.
- You may lose your status if you fall below the criteria for two refresh cycles in a row.

Notes from Walmart:
- Pro Listing Savings only apply to eligible offers, and can’t be combined with referral fee discounts from other programs — if another program already gives a higher discount, that one may apply instead.
- Monthly SEM and Post-Purchase Reviews credits are valid for three months after they’re issued.
- Flash Deals access doesn’t guarantee your deal is accepted.
- Earning the status doesn’t guarantee the badge appears everywhere on Walmart.com.
Getting the Pro Listing Savings discount
The 5% (Advanced) or 10% (Pro) referral fee discount only applies to Pro Listings — offers that also have:
- a competitive price that meets or beats the market — offers missing an external price match don’t qualify (you need a comparable item’s ASIN to submit one);
- fast and free shipping in two days or less — via TwoDay delivery, Simplified Shipping Settings or WFS.
Find them under Pro Seller dashboard → Pro Listings. Each offer gets the discount for up to 90 days. No savings on an order usually means your tier lapsed, the 90 days ran out, the price wasn’t competitive at order time, or the order’s delivery window was over two days.
The metrics most sellers miss
- Shipping speed: at least half your published catalog must offer free 3-day or faster delivery for the Pro tier. This is often the hardest one for seller-fulfilled shops.
- Content quality and price competitiveness: both are Listing Quality scores Walmart calculates (see how price competitiveness is measured in Walmart Buy Box) — the Pro Seller page in Seller Center has an AI-powered insights section with suggested actions.
- Orders: fewer than 100 completed orders in 90 days rules out every tier, however good your other metrics are.
